It was first detected as a wave that moved off the coast of the African coast on June 18th.It moved into the western Carribbean by late June and formed into a tropical depression near the western tip of Cuba on June 30. It then moved northwest through July 1 as it became a tropical storm, then it turned northward. It contintued the motion and made fell in the western Florida Panhandle on the 4th. It then moved north-northeastward into western Georgia, where it did a loop on the 5th and 6th. It finally came to an end over central Alabama on July 7.
