1. My favorite topic in Geology was volcanoes because I didn't know all those volcanoes even existed.

4. I think I did alright on the Final Exam so probably about and 86 or 87. To prepare I studied the cross word puzzles and copied the questions I got wrong on the Pre-Final to my flash drive to study. I wish I would have studied more.

1.No one knows exactly what happened because it occured far too many years ago. But the Hubble Law is support of how it happened.

2. Astrometry, because they can measure how and where a star moves and take it away from the total mass.
3. The Goldilocks Zone is an area of space in which a planet is just the right distance from its home star so that its surface is neither too hot nor too cold. This means the could host liquid water.
4. The life would be different than ours because they're immune to different things, so what's is most common on that planet is what they are going to be use to. I think they are going to be smaller than humans, uglier, and more advanced than humans. They will be smart, because if they do exist, they kept their lives secret.

1. Black holes are regions of space that has so much mass concentrated in it that there is no way for a nearby object to escape its gravitational pull. There size can vary in size, but typical one is 10 times the size of sun.
2. The moon is the brightest object in the sky but gives off no light of its own but reflects light off the sun. Its much smaller than Earth and is only 27% of its radius. The light parts of the moon were flooded by lava when volcanoes erupted millions of years ago.
3. Dwarf planets are Pluto, Eris, Make make, and Haumea. They orbit the sun just like other planets. Most of them are in the Kuiper Belt.
4. Milky Way Galaxy is the home of the Solar System and 200 billion other stars and their planets. Its a giant and has almost one trillion solar masses.
5. Search for aliens (SETI) is a program that searches for aliens. They are trying to figure out if there is life on any other planets. Many people thinks that it has something to do with God and his angels.

1. Rainwater collections, geothermal A/C, and solar photovoltaic power systems are the three technologies the school plans to utilize.
2. Rainwater collection is collection of raindrops which can be used for small scale irrigation, clothes washing, bathing and after treatment. Geothermal A/C is pipes underground that help keep a place cool. Solar photovoltaic power systems is using solar panels to get electricity.
3. I chose food and agriculture.
4.The big problem is the world's rich farmland washes into the sea, and before chemical pesticides and fertilizers cause any more harm to our drinking water and our oceans.
5. To fix this problem I could help by not throwing plastic and other materials that could be recycled into the trash because its contributing to the harming water. I could help by asking farmers not to allow their chemicals to go into the sea and not to use so many pesticides.

3. My favorite chapter was Chapter 10. It was my favorite chapter because volcanoes are very interesting. I thought the shield cone was the most interesting volcano to me because of the story behind it about how they put their shields down. It was also my favorite because I didn’t really know how volcanoes formed until we reviewed this chapter.

Their thesis was "Hundreds of giant pandas had to be rescued as the Chinese Earthquake devastated their breeding grounds, it has emerged." I agree with it because the pictures they shows that they are in terrible conditions and need to be rescued because they're aren't many of them left.
