1. Radial velocity, astrometry, transit method, and optical detection.
2. Astrometry, because they can measure how and where a star moves and take it away from the total mass.
3. The Goldilocks Zone is an area of space in which a planet is just the right distance from its home star so that its surface is neither too hot nor too cold. This means the could host liquid water.
4. The life would be different than ours because they're immune to different things, so what's is most common on that planet is what they are going to be use to. I think they are going to be smaller than humans, uglier, and more advanced than humans. They will be smart, because if they do exist, they kept their lives secret.
5.Yes, I believe in them and if they do exist they are a whole lot smarter than humans. I think they just haven't shown theirselves to humans yet because they know we will want to try to know more and more about them.

Questions:
1. Hydrogen is the primary gas on Jovian planets.
2. Carbon dioxide is the primary gas on Mars and Venus.
3. I would chose Pluto because it's small and looks the coolest. It would be many people there since it's so far away. It has hydrogen on it which is a component to we need to live. It's name after a dog which is also cool.

2. The moon is the brightest object in the sky but gives off no light of its own but reflects light off the sun. Its much smaller than Earth and is only 27% of its radius. The light parts of the moon were flooded by lava when volcanoes erupted millions of years ago.
3. Dwarf planets are Pluto, Eris, Make make, and Haumea. They orbit the sun just like other planets. Most of them are in the Kuiper Belt.
